Where God's Love Is Real

Outreach Ministries

Dundee UMC is an outwardly focused church that sincerely desires to help the most vulnerable in our community. In an effort to bind-up the broken-hearted and bring hope to the hopeless, we engage in various outreach ministries.

 Children’s Home -
The holidays are right around the corner, so that means that the Children’s Home is soliciting our help by providing gift cards to major chain stores and popular restaurants; in $10, $20 or $25 increments. House parents will use some of the cards to buy gifts for their residents and the cards allow the children to do some shopping as well. The goal is for each child to receive $150 in gifts. Any extra money will go to the different house parents to treat the children to a meal out or shopping trip. The gift cards should have a value amount written on them and these can be given to Kathy Wagner or Jenny Jacobs or put in the offering plate. These will be delivered, along with any other donations of needed items from the list in the Narthex before December 1st. We have been thinking about a tour of the home for our congregation, if there is enough interest; but it would have to be on a weekday. Please let us know of your interest and we will try to schedule one in November or after the first of the year. Thank you for your continued support. Jenny Jacobs & Kathy Wagner
