Since the choir will not be singing in the summer, we encourage the input of our members and friends.  Anyone who sings, plays, or would just like to share a poem or story is welcome.  Please contact Pastor, Barbara Batemen or Lori Durbin to share your talent and inspiration.

As you can see, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed good food and better company!

Pastor Debbie's last service at DUMC is Sunday June 25th.  A Pot Luck dinner will follow the service to give us a chance to say good bye.

Pastor Debbie Mak, who has guided our little Church for the last 7 years will be leaving us soon.  June 25th will be her final sermon (to us, that is).   We will miss her greatly.  The Pastor said she will be going to the Ocala area...horse country.  Which makes her happy, because she loves horses.   Good luck to you Pastor Debbie....we love you, and will miss you, and will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Pastor Sharon Davis

In July, we will be welcoming Pastor Sharon Davis to our Community.  Pastor Sharon Davis has followed in her father's footsteps in becoming a minister.  Pastor Sharon has lived all over the country and in Germany.  She and her husband of 32 years, Len, have also moved a lot.  She and Len have four children - his, theirs and theirs by adoption - and three grandchildren.  Pastor Sharon is a licensed Mental Health counselor, with a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University.  She is an elder in the Florida Conference, and has served Churches in Lakeland, Haines City, Tampa and Plant City.   We are looking forward to meeting Pastor Sharon.

Don't forget our Flea Market in November.  Now is the time to clean  out those closets and donate the things you no longer need to the Church.  We will need lots of stuff if we are going to beat last years take!!! (NO CLOTHING OR SHOES, PLEASE)  Bring Donations to the garage in the Church Office Building.

Manna Cafe

The people in the pictures  below are only some of the folks that make this monthly event inspiring...and tasty!  Our Manna Cafe is a  free meal for  anyone who wants or needs it.  It's not only free and, but it's fun!     We invite you  to come to our meal ON FRIDAY JUNE 23RD, enjoy the food from the best cooks around, and meet our Church family. It's at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Dundee United Methodist Church.  MENU FOR THE 23RD IS CREAMED CHICKEN ON BISCUITS.  YUM!
Of course, Charlotte Metz is one of  our fearless leaders (along with her husband Ron), but she was moving so fast I couldn't get her picture!  Many more people donated and cooked food than I can list.  Thanks to all for your time and generosity.
