Where God's Love Is Real

Church Life

Our beloved Choir Mistress, Naomi Martin, is retiring from her position.  Naomi is a talented singer, and a wonderful Choir Director.  She has treated this as her Ministry for many years here at DUMC.   We were unbelievably fortunate to have her for so long, and will miss her talent and skills very much.  She tells me she will continue to come to Sunday Services, though, so we will see her often....and maybe convince her to sing a hymn or two?  Thank you, Naomi for everything you have done for the  Dundee United Methodist Church and it's congregation.

Stephen Brannon visited our Sunday Service to play the piano for us and sing with the choir.  He was welcomed by all, and is wonderfully talented.  Stephen is a "Dundee Boy", so many were excited to get to know him.  We hope to see more of Stephen in the future.

Pastor Debbie Mak, who has guided our little Church for the last 7 years will be leaving us in May.  We will miss her greatly.  The Pastor said she will be going to the Ocala area...horse country.  Which makes her happy, because she loves horses.   Good luck to you Pastor Debbie....we love you, and will miss you, and will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Don't forget our Flea Market in November.  Now is the time to clean  out those closets and donate the things you no longer need to the Church.  We will need lots of stuff if we are going to beat last years take!!! (NO CLOTHING OR SHOES, PLEASE)  Bring Donations to the garage in the Church Office Building.
Manna Cafe
Our next Manna cafe is May 26th.  The people in the pictures  below are only some of the folks that make this monthly event inspiring...and tasty!  Our Manna Cafe is a  free meal for  anyone who wants or needs it.  It's free and it's fun.  Last month we fed over 100 people.   We invite you  to come to our meal, enjoy the food from the best cooks around, and meet our Church family. It's at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Dundee United Methodist Church.
Of course, Charlotte Metz is one of  our fearless leaders (along with her husband Ron), but she was moving so fast I couldn't get her picture!  Many more people donated and cooked food than I can list.  Thanks to all for your time and generosity.
The Women's Mini Retreat was a Rousing Success.  To see pictures, visit the United Methodist Women's page.
